We transferred from BT in January and our Virgin equipment was installed on 2nd March - however, since then we do not appear to have a landline. The landline should have been ported from BT at this time.
There is a dial tone (crackles a lot), but when attempting to dial out we can't get past the first 4 digits - "the number you have dialled has not been recognised" message is all we can get.
We've called the home phone from a mobile and it rings but picking up the handset just gives a dial tone. We've unplugged the other 'phones in the house but this makes no difference. I've checked your FAQ's and visited the Virgin Media Forum, but nothing similar appears to have been flagged.
Any suggestions?
