I have sent an employment reference 6 times in the last 6 weeks with no response!

Does anyone have an email other than help@ or careers@ that I can send it to or this person will not be able to start work?

It should be careers@virginmedia.co.uk  and you should get a response within 24 working hours of sending an email to the team
