Hi Virgin Web Team,

I'm trying to access my new virginmedia.com emails but I can't login to the console.

I've changed my password a number of times but still can't login.

Grateful if you will look into this and confirm my @virginmedia.com email address.

Many thanks

Lorraine

@Lorraine_52 Welcome to the Community help forum.

When did you become a VM broadband customer?  The ability for new customers to create a Virginmedia email address was withdrawn around about 22 May 2022.

After that date you would have had to use a third party email address for your My VM account.

Thanks Graham_A

Installed on 22 April.  So, email is no longer part of a broadband deal with VirginMedia.. Bit of a show stopper? For me it is.

Many thanks

To be honest Lorraine, I really wouldn’t be too bothered about having a VM provided email address; as some posters here have found to their cost, it may be convenient but ties you into VM, effectively for ever. Leave and the email address and all the email within it is deleted after 90 days!

Much better to spin up an email address with a separate provider, Gmail or Outlook.com spring to mind, then you simply aren’t tied to a particular broadband supplier, you can switch whenever you want and not worry about losing your email address.

@Lorraine_52 Based on your installation date VM email addresses were still available so if you set one up at the time then the VM Forum Team staff should be able to help get the address unlocked when they reach this thread.

But as Jem has said a third party email address would be a better long term option.
