I'm a new subscriber to Virgin TV and the picture through this V6 box is worse than using Freeview through my smart TV and the arial on my roof.
The HD colours are way too rich, the darks are way too dark and the picture is not sharp at all.
And yes, I have done the settings on the video output. Its set at 1080
I see I'm not the only one either. I want this fixing or I'll be asking to cancel the service.
You can adjust the picture settings via your T|V remote

I just wanted to pop by and see how the picture quality is today. I have had a look at your box remotely and all looks great from here signal wise.
As jb66 has suggested the picture settings can be adjusted. If you are still experiencing any picture problems then let us know.

I have 65" Samsung curved TV. With TiVo it was great. 'Upgraded' to V6 and its awful- like watching through a snow storm
Snowstorm will be a bandwidth issue with the cable, the STB is upscaling to 4k and the HDMI lead isn't up to the task
