My father has received a request for his post code , so you can send him a new SIM card . Is this correct ? And why only the post code ?

Really sorry that your dad has had this text and I can understand the concern this has caused.
We're sending SIM cards to all of our customers to ensure they're using a new SIM and getting the best from our network.
In some cases we don't have an address for the SIM as it's not registered or it's not up to date so we are texting these customers to ask for their address, so it is certainly from us.
