Roaming

I recently got a new 4g purple sim. It installed correctly in the UK and was working fine. I’m  over in Ireland for a while now and it’s not working. I had roaming on and international call barring off well before I left. It looks like it’s connected for about 20 seconds, then it drops and advises all services are blocked. I can sometimes connect again very briefly by manually choosing the network. I’ve tried rebooting the phone and have checked the APN settings which look ok. None of the suggestions on here appear to work, though I haven’t had my roaming reset by the virgin team. I won’t be back in the UK for a good few weeks now. Is there anything that can be done to get me up and running?

Thanks for your post, very sorry to hear you are having trouble with your roaming service. 

You can reset your roaming services by turning this off and back on again on your online account here: virg.in/myVM

You can also try to connecting to other networks when you do the manual network search.
