Payment for loan agreement put against mobile bill

I missed a payment on my loan agreement due to not transferring funds in time (as I was laid up due to chronic illness). I contacted the text help number as unable to talk properly at the moment. Went through all the checks etc and several times I mentioned the payment was against the missed payment. They even confirmed the amount etc and said it had gone through. I had a missed call earlier from Virgin so I have checked my account. The payment has been made against my line rental and not the loan agreement as specifically requested.
Is there any way of sorting this out and putting the payment against the right account without having to call?
