Parked order - dissgusting customer service

Ordered an iPhone xs around 24 hrs ago and paid £134 which has been taken as early upgrade fee.

Was told that it would be delivered tomorrow so booked the day off work

Then was told I'd get a call to release the order from the "back room" in 1hr

Never got a call so I called again. Now saying 24 to 48hrs and note on my account apparently says I ordered a XR which is totally wrong. But customer service cant say for sure what I ordered because order doesn't exist but its sent to the "back room"

Sick of being lied to by virgin. Have no idea what I've ordered, where my order is or what is going on. Nothing but a £134 hole in my wallet for sweet  nothing and loss of a day's salary thanks to virgins lies to lull me into a new contract. Disgusting.

 

Someone please help

Seems this delivery date lie is common trend.

Partner also ordered this morning switching to virgin after I recommended them

Exactly the same lie told to her and the same unhelpful customer service
