Re: Mobile signal poor/non-existent

Thank you Emily for your response. There is no signal at my home address, but this is not reflected in the coverage link which you provided (according to which there should be an excellent 4G signal), so I will be in touch again once the fault has been rectified.

Thank you also to everyone else who has responded and provided the benefit of their knowledge and experience. Apologies if I might have sounded slightly tetchy, but the situation is frustrating!

Re: Mobile signal poor/non-existent

You can also check the Ofcom mobile coverage page

https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/mobile-coverage

These coverage pages are more useful when you have a signal though, they are not live coverage indicators unfortunately.

The Ofcom page is considered more accurate and is based on real users data over time.

I completely understand your frustration with this, I have registered with the ee page, and they do send updates for any maintenance or problems in the area.

I hope they sort out the h&s problem for your mast quickly. Sometimes they need permission to work on private land.
