That is quite a bizarre situation, with Smarty being owned by Three and being pushed out as a budget service to their full service 🤔

Add ID mobile to the mix too (3 mvno associated to carphone warehouse).

They do WiFi calling and 4g calling.

Come July with the next rpi increase their 10gb for £12 (1200 minutes, unlimited texts) gets very competitive for me (2gb x 3 with 2gb rollover £11.71).

If vm get their act together in the next 4 months and add the 2 features though?

Just received my email and going from £4.13 to £23.00 per month. Immoral isnt the first word that springs to mind.

 

Apologies but I havent read the entire thread but could someone please confirm that i can leave with 30 days notice??

Yes you can but only on the sim contract - the handset is still the same

I`m in the same boat and have had loads of time wasted by 789 service handlers.

This morning Ive cancelled EVERYTHING with Virgin.

I`m mifffed that LIFETIME data multiplyers which made good contracts are now being taken away from people if you make use of them - Two contracts EXACTLY the same, where one is used well and is being withdrawn while one is being allowed to continue!

This is fair and square abuse of contract law

Waiting for my deadlock letter which I`m guessing will never arrive

I wonder if anyone really from Virgin is reading this thread, and if anything is starting to sink in. Of course one other thought comes to mind, our lowly £4 a month contracts are costing them money to administer and really they dont care if we leave.

Just had letter today saying my plan I was paying for with 100gb 20 pound a month's they longer do and now that want me to pay 23 pound a month for 40gb net and all min and texts y would I pay more for less surely they cant just change your plan when they want

It would appear they can. 

 

Why would they not just leave people on the plan they are already on, but tell them that when their "Contract" expires that "Contract" they have wont be available and they will have to pick a new one?

And to think they were giving me 300GB for £20 the other week. I am glad I left
