TV box allegedly updating itself, seems to be stuck in a loop!

My TV box shows a message on TV saying that it will update itself, then restart afterwards. The process takes a few minutes, but has now repeated itself more than 8 times - it appears stuck in a loop. Please help!

Thanks for that suggestion.

I have done that, following advice from the website which advises switching off, waiting ten minutes, then restarting everything.

The TV showed the same message, and we're still stuck in the same loop at the moment!

Oh dear I know it's annoying but you need to phone and go down the Tv faults route, they will check the box while you're on the line and if necessary arrange for an engineer to come and replace the box.Regards Micky

Ive already done that and had it tested, I am trying again right now - waiting to be transferred to a 'busy' team...

Engineer coming tomorrow!

After allowing the unit to sit disconnected for two hours, on restart, all is well.

Engineer visit cancelled!
