virgin tv go registered device

I have received this message when trying to watch TV on my PC:
"You have registered the maximum number of devices on your account.

I have tried to watch on my laptop which is registered but the message states I need to register the device???

I don't understand this as I only have this PC and one other device registered.
Please can you help?

I cannot remember what browser I used to initially register the laptop

Thank you for getting in touch.

 

I'm sorry you've been having problems with TV go. If you sign into your account via PC/Laptop here, https://virgintvgo.virginmedia.com/en.html. Then go to Settings>Device management you will be able to check what devices you have registered. If you're using multiple web browsers on the same laptop / PC each browser will register as a separate device.

Hi Hetty 

as explained in my original message 

I have two devices registered , my phone and laptop . I cannot remember what browser I used to register my laptop . I have tried logging in on all browsers that I use but this has proved fruitless. It’s very frustrating especially as I cannot re register  again for another week or so .

Thanks for confirming. 

 

You should still be able to sign into your account and check the devices you have registered. 

 

Are you able to access the app on the other device you've got registered?

it confirms I have both devices registered but on my laptop (which it registered as my laptop on the website. When I try to play /watch on the laptop it says it is not registered . 

According to the message ...I cannot re register it for another week ... 

so annoying as I have attempted to play it on numerous browsers on my laptop but as stated previously ... I cannot remember what browser I used when I initially registered it.
