@aceado - I'm having exactly the same problems as you. I'm in Doncaster in area 14, called customer services a month or so ago who advised there were no issues. 

Most nights, roughly between 5pm - midnight, my speeds drop massively. I have Vivid 350 and between those hours I regularly get as low as 6Mbps, but regularly get over 350Mbps outside of those hours.

@Virgin - Do you know what the problem is and when we can expect it to be resolved?

next time do a tracert 80.249.99.164 but it sure seems like both brad-core-2a and brad-core-2b are having issues which need to be fixed

Are you still seeing massive speed reductions. Even now on Virgin Nottingham server i am <20mb/s. On every other server it's 2-8mb/s

Slow here again. Also had an engineer out who couldn’t find any problem on my connection but he did speak someone on the phone. He said he was passing my details to someone and they would call back and monitor the connection. Also showed him this topic on the forum. By any chance are you all in the Wheatley area of Doncaster?

the issue isn't local to where we live it's more the issue where we're getting the main internet feed from which is somewhere in bradford and that's where the problem is and needs to be fixed if I was to guess most likely a network/interface problem which needs to be found and fixed
