configuring network settings

hello all, i am struggling to set my tv box up it is on the startup checklist and it has been stuck on this for hours no tick on the configuring network settings i have turned the router off and the box left for half an hour no luck. I have activated it when trying to reach customer service was on hold a fair while before i gave up, also read to change ports over on the wifi box still no idea...

any ideas?
