I'm trying to sign up for Virgin Media but I'm getting a warning that an account is already registered at this address. I've lived at this address for 1.5 years and the previous tennants used Sky Broadband.
It's told me to contact the existing account holder but I don't know who it is but I can't. It tells me to contact you guys if I can't but lots of different routes to contact you guys require an account number and area reference that I don't have yet.
Hoping this is the right place to get the ball rolling!

We're sorry to hear you're having an issue with signing up. I'm afraid we're unable to set up accounts via the Community and would be unable to release any account specific information relating to any active account.
Please give the sales team a call on 0800 183 1234 and advise that you are the only person who lives there. The team can then start the gone-away process to allow you to sign up and get services 😊
