Previous contract owner moving out - 14 day delay without internet access
I'm part of a shared household that's currently looking to sign up for a Virgin Media bundle for the next year. The house has been using Virgin Media for the last year, however we need to start a contract under a new name/account, as the previous payer is moving out.
One issue we've noticed, however, is that there's a 14 day period after the previous contract is cancelled before the new quickstart package can be delivered. This is a big problem, as some of the people moving into the house will need internet access for work in this time, especially with the ongoing lockdown.
Is there a work-around or alternative that would allow us to have the internet set up faster, or at least have access in this period?
