Home Hub 3 keeps resetting

Hi over the last week or so the home hub kept resetting itself and says it has no internet connection. Tried all the reset options etc and spoke to helpline who said they need to send an engineer out but Not able to come out until next week so left with no internet until then. 
Anyone have any suggestions what might be wrong? Going to be a boring long weekend without it.

We would advise waiting for an engineer since this is what we had advised.
