Wifi pod unrecognised access point

When scaning for wifi blackspots near to the wifi pod I get the message "you are connected to your home network through an unrecognised access point, devices nearby are still trying to connect to the hub with very weak signals.

The pod has been plugged in for over 36 hours and lights went through the routine and turned off.

Can anyone support what to do?

  • Hi Cardiffman281

  • Thanks for the reply about the app, as for the connection issue found that if I turn the ring chime Pro off and back on again it seems to connect to the pod with a rssi of 44 but then will change to 67 same as I get when connected to the hub, device is approximately 1 to 2 meters from pod door bell has rssi of 72 same as when connected to hub this is approximately 1 to 1.5 meters from pod with only front door between them .
  • Any suggestions would be appreciated

We can have a look at the hub stats if you want.

See this thread on how to go about it https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Networking-and-WiFi/Wifi-signal/m-p/4885436#M447910
