Re: WiFi dropping out every few hours

I keep getting a failure to open page message when trying to go on the http://192.168.0.1 link, it just loads for a minute then crashes, is there another way to access?

The powerlines are all using the same SSID yes. I will try and separate them if I can work out how!

Re: WiFi dropping out every few hours

Try with an ethernet cable connecting from laptop/pc direct into the Hub. Try a different browser.

Re: WiFi dropping out every few hours

Tried a different browser, different computer, and direct ethernet connection.

I will shortly be throwing the hub out of the window!

Re: WiFi dropping out every few hours

Mmmm.. dont really know what to suggest.
I use 192.168.100.1 as mine is in modem mode.
Perhaps try again reboot the Hub, and clear your browser "cache" first and then omit the http:// - just type in the URL box 192.168.0.1

Re: WiFi dropping out every few hours

Nope nothing is loading the page. Have also reset it on the back of the router as I saw suggested elsewhere, still nothing.

Very frustrating. I assume even if I got another router I would not be able to change the relevant settings to put it into modem mode anyway now that I can't access the page! Back to square one!

Re: WiFi dropping out every few hours

You could try calling it in as a fault they are usually able to access the Hubs settings

Re: WiFi dropping out every few hours

Another thought after you do the factory pinhole reset did you restart the box - as they say to do?
If so try it again this way - it has worked for some previously..

With the Hub "on" - push in the pin on the back/side/bottom of the Hub with the end of a paperclip until you feel it at the “stop point” and hold it there for a "timed" 60 seconds do NOT restart the Hub after that.
See if that shifts it !

Re: WiFi dropping out every few hours

Now wondering if this could have anything to do with new neighbours across the road having Virgin installed a few weeks ago?
