Unable to login to router (HUB3)

Hi, hoping someone can help.

A short while ago i received a message about updating my router to improve wireless, i think it was to combine the 2 and 5ghz.

Anyways recentley i found the wireless signal to be even worse than before, i decided to try and login to check settings. Used 192.168.0.1 and the page just says enter password, tried my saved PW which does not work (maybe wiped after FW upgrade)? I then used the default PW which is on the underside of router, still did not work. Tried resetting router and tried logins using wireless and wired connection, still cannot get in.

Before this issue the login page for router i think had user and PW? Not sure what is going on but maybe someone does.

How did you reset the router?

https://www.virginmedia.com/help/virgin-media-reset-your-hub

You will need to keep pressing it for 10 seconds at least

Hi Peter, i held the reset until the rear network port lights went out (took about 30secs), now i can get back in.

Thankyou for the help, just need to hold reset switch a little longer😁
