Unable to get IP from DHCP

I recently bought a Third party router, and after setup all my Wifi networks are limited even that of Ethernet, when I check the new routers status it just says "Getting IP from DHCP server" any idea why it can't get the IP?

Have you put your Virgin Media Hub 3.0 into Modem Mode (magenta LED)?

Re: Unable to get IP from DHCP

You need to power on in a set sequence.

power off everything

power on your modem and wait until fully initialised

now power on the VM hub

should then work

Re: Unable to get IP from DHCP

Make sure that the router's WAN port is connected to the hub's LAN port (any of the four will do but only one must be in use at any time).
