No wifi - No 2.4 or 5 lights on

After a bad lightning storm we came home to no internet. Did the usual reboot etc and only te bottom 3 lights are on our Superhub 2.

The blue tick is solid, the arrows are flashing and power symbol is blue.

No blue 2.4 or 5.0 on.

We can't log on to the 192.168.0.1 as our MacBook hasn't got an Ethernet port.

Virgin say they can't come out till Wednesday (5 days away) and they couldn't help over the phone.

Any ideas what this could be and what we can do to try and fix the problem?

Without the ability to connect to the hub your options are limited.

You could try a factory reset of the hub, bearing i mind all passwords\ passphrases and SSIDs will be reset to their default values printed on the hub.

We have reset it twice, with no change.

Hi Mrs_Yellop,

It sounds like the storm may have caused an electrical surge which could result in the failure of devices to work (surge protectors are often not able to cope with this kind of powerful surge).

I was going to send a replacement Hub out to you but it looks as though this may have already been done. Please let us know if you have any queries or issues with the new Hub and we'll be happy to help as soon as we reach your post.
