All in the title. Broadband wasn't working. Some posts suggested a factory reset. Now it's asking for CM IP address.

Engineer fixed the problem which was back at the box in the street. Reconnected cables. Went away and realised he'd reconnected cables at the house the wrong way round so came back 20 min later. So, that apart of the service was great. Pity some monitoring capacity couldn't have identified the fault earlier as I had 4 days with intermittent or no broadband.
