My mother's landline suddenly stopped working.
There is no dial tone when attempting to call out and when we try to call the number there is an automated message advising this number is not recognised.
No previous issues with the line, same telephone number for years, landline through virgin for multiple years.
My mother has called Virgin for help and has tested a couple of phones on their advice but this has not helped. Service status in the area is ok according to Virgin.
She has been told to give it 48hrs to resolve itself but this has been since Tuesday and there is still no phone line.

I am so sorry to hear that your mother's landline service is currently not working. Did the team explain what the 48 hour timeframe was for? Does your mother have access to a working mobile handset so that she can still make and receive calls during the landline downtime?
