How do I set up auto forwarding to a gmail account from a blueyonder/virgin account. From what I have read its settings then forwarding. But there is no mention of forwarding in settings. Any help much appreciated

Dave

Re: email forwarding

Virgin Media web mail, log-in, hamburger icon, settings, e-mail in left hand pane, drop down menu, auto-forward and complete the screen.

Job done but if you don't access the address using VM directly at least every 90 days the address will be suspended and won't work.

The better solution is to pull the mail via GMail but you still need to access directly every 90 days.

I do not work for VM. The advice I give is based on my best understanding of VM policy and practice. You rely on it at your own risk.

AFAIK there is no need to directly access the email account because the email client (GMail in this case) has done this for you.
