Email access after changing password

Hi

I've changed my password on the Virgin site and had an email confirmation that it has been successful.  This came through on the email tab on the Virgin Media site.

On my Mail (Apple Mac) each time I try to send an email the password window pops up to enter the new password however each time it is unrecognised.  I've double/triple checked that it has not been incorrectly entered but still no use.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

I changed my password and my email won't recognise the change, therefore I can't send any emails

Good Afternoon

 

Can you please try logging out of the E-Mail account on the third party applications and then log back in with the correct password to see if this will allow you to use the account.

 

If this doesn't work, please try deleting the E-Mail address from the application and then add the E-Mail account back to the application

Changing the Virgin password hasn't worked. I still get the pop up window asking for the password which is then not recognised?

Sorry for asking, but as it's a 3rd party app/client.  Does the client have a clear history/cache option?  If so you may require to clear this if it's still recognising the previous password?

I took some time to delete all of the cache files but it still won't recognise the password?

Can you try selecting 'forgotten my password' via our webmail service and resetting the password this way please?
