Telephone socket on Hub5 doesn't work

I've plugged a phone into the telephone socket on my Hub 5 and it doesn't work. The phone works when it plugs into the separate phone socket on my wall.

When I log into the router settings on my Hub 5 it says that telephony is disabled, and I cannot see how to enable it.

Sorry to hear you are having issues setting up your landline service. Typically the line should be up and running after the following setup as seen here https://www.virginmedia.com/help/landline/fibre-phone-faqs. I have also checked your service and everything seems in order. To further look into this, I have sent you a private message.
