Email still not working

My email still not working ,First it was just my ntlworld which went down 2 weeks ago now the rest of my virginmedia.com mail accounts don’t work.

any idea when it will be fixed?

Hi SmoggyAli.

Our teams were working through the night to complete planned and essential work to our email service. This was carried out overnight to minimise disruption for our email users, but unfortunately we have since encountered some technical difficulties this evening which means email users may be experiencing intermittent issues with their email service. i found it was the imap server at fault so went back to using a pop3 server and got my emails working again,ill go back to imap when they have fixed it :)in thunderbird i deleted my account and put it back but selecting pop and that was it.chris.
