Sim card not working

Hi.

My sim card doesn't seem to work. I've tried restarting and trying it in a different phone and get the same behaviour. Any number I call it doesn't ring, it says it's calling and then seems to connect (i.e. it starts counting time as if I was connected to a call) but it hasn't connected and I can't hear any dial tone. Any ideas on how to solve this?

I am sorry to hear about the issues you are having with the SIM card.

 

Has this worked previously for you?

 

Are you unable to make calls in multiple locations or just one in particular for example just at home?

Hi!

Thank you for getting back to me. Here are the answers to your questions.

The sim has been working fine for years, just stopped yesterday.

It has the same behaviour in different locations.

I've checked I'm on the right network in my phone settings and it's picking up virgin 

Data is on, aeroplane mode and DND is off 

It shows in have a signal but I can't make a call and successfully connect.
