Upgrade phone call

Hi all , i had a call when at work yesterday offering me a 1gig upgrade for a small fee with a free newer hub , i couldnt take the offer there and then as wasnt sure it was genuine , ive spoke to vm by whatapp and they cant get close to what i was offered , is there any way to get it now?

What was the offer btw? 

I'm not a Very Insightful Person (just a little bit, sometimes). I don't work for Virgin Media (but then nor do any of the offshore customer service agents).

was an extra £5 to upgrade from 350 to 1 gig with free hub , much more if i go through my account
