Adapter not working

Ok I've plugged in the adapter.  Now it says on the phone Check telephone Line.  According to the Hub 3.0 the telephony is on.  But the light isn't.  We don't have a phone line at all now. I can't fix it and  I don't know what to do.😡

And no we don't have any other land line phones to try with it.

The phone light appears briefly when booting the hub then goes off in normal use. It shows red for a problem.

Have you tried restarting the hub? Are you connected to TEL1 as below via the adapter?

Have you tried restarting the hub? Are you connected to TEL1 as below via the adapter?

That was the problem.  Thought I had plugged it in that socket.  Thanks peeps!!!👍
