Unable to link virgin media account to virgin media O2 ID account
Brand new user, signed up to virgin media with my email account, tried to login online, was asked to create O2 ID - created it using the same email address, then was asked to map the two and getting this error: “We’ve found your Virgin Media account However, this account is linked to an email address that’s different to the one on your Virgin Media O2 ID. If you’d like to continue and link your Virgin Media account to your Virgin Media O2 ID, please confirm the full email address your Virgin Media account is currently registered to. We’ll then send an email to that email address to approve the transfer.” I then write the same email I used for both accounts but it is saying the email address doesn’t match even though I literally copy pasted it from my contract document. I tried getting support in person, I rang custom service and I'm yet to have this resolved, half a week into my trial period...hyperlink2 hours agoSettling in286Views1like11CommentsUnable to access my virgin media account

Help! Two of my three V6 boxes will shortly no longer be needed. VM said, when having given them the serial numbers of the two boxes in question those boxes will be disconnected at VM's end and I'll need to disconnect their cables from the rear of the boxes and include them in the packaging. Neither of these TV boxes have the 'white' 'coaxial' ( or whatever it's called ) cables fitted to a 'wall box' so I cannot just unplug them. From what I can see the white cable comes into the house through the wall and meets a 'double ended' metal cylindrical piece (just one has a rectangular metal piece marked 6Db ) with hexagonal nuts at either end and marked ' cablecon 3.9' then a further metal connector, also with a nut a bit higher up connected to a shorter cable pushed into the rear of the box. I'm quite unwell at present and was never very technically minded and also can't find anyone able to physically help me. I am finding difficulty understanding how much of / which parts of the cable need to be undone ( presumably with a spanner ) and returned. Thank you all again Stevejenfamily13 hours agoDialled in19Views0likes1CommentCan't register Virgin Media account

Funny things are going on here-: The last few days I'm unable and still am to log into my VM account BUT I can still send E-mail's using Firefox with the same E-mail addx, here's where the 'funnies' come in - don't ask I dunno...! I was unable to log in here yesterday, same to day with no joy I struggled and struggled I tried as a last resort BINGO, I logged in and here I am! Still can't get into my VM account, needless to say I can't read or send E-mails there, I just ried whilst writing this! I've put a letter in to Head Office via recorded delivery, seriously VM needs to get their act together, phoning or E-mailing for help is one ALMIGHTY JOKE isn't it? AND VM wants us to refer a friend!!!! If I get no response I'm off to SKY and VM can shout and scream about their contract. The service is completely dire - non exsistent infact, so what is just going on here? It is for sure a VM doing, there is far too many ding-dongs about this kind of activity recently.pentode4 hours agoDialled in213Views0likes7CommentsO2 Volt benefits not activating until VM update my address
Hello. I cannot get the full Volt beneots (double data on my o2 sims) because the address on my o2 and VM accounts are not exactly the same. For the last month, I've been trying to get o2 or Virgin Media to update the format of my home address. After hours on the phone to O2 and VM, I've established that o2 are unable to edit the address on their system. VM said they could update it and to wait 5 days for the update, but nothing was ever updated and I've since wasted hours on the phone with VM trying to resolve this issue with no success. I have been a customer of VM and o2 for over a month now and this still isnt resolved. Last month I ran out of data on my o2 sim and o2 said I should purchase more data which is ridiculous as my contract states I should have double the amount of data I am getting! Please can someone from VM help resolve this issue as soon as possible please.iainthistle434 hours agoSettling in30Views0likes3CommentsDelete secondary email addresses
Oh Dear! What have Virgin done? I am in process of moving emails to a different provider. I deleted one of the now unused secondary addresses last week with no problems. Now I have had to go through the tedious new login procedure and can no longer find the list of email addresses in order to delete them. Does anyone know where this function is now buried? The information in the 'help?' is contradictory. Thanks in advanceRobertos424 hours agoDialled in91Views0likes3CommentsCant log in to secondary email address
I have two email accounts associated with my Virgin media Account, one for me and one for my wife. When she tried to access her email she was asked to create a VirginO2 ID and link it to the MyVirginMedia account. When we did this the link was to my copy of the account. Now my login to Myvirginmedia has changed and my wife still cant access her email since you can only see my email from my copy of the account. I have looked and failed to find any way of removing her VirginO2 ID from my copy of MyVirginMedia or for her to access her email. Please help.Steve_R4 hours agoTuning in103Views0likes3Comments
