O2 Volt benefits not activating until VM update my address

Hello. I cannot get the full Volt beneots (double data on my o2 sims) because the address on my o2 and VM accounts are not exactly the same. For the last month, I've been trying to get o2 or Virgin Media to update the format of my home address.

After hours on the phone to O2 and VM, I've established that o2 are unable to edit the address on their system. VM said they could update it and to wait 5 days for the update, but nothing was ever updated and I've since wasted hours on the phone with VM trying to resolve this issue with no success.

I have been a customer of VM and o2 for over a month now and this still isnt resolved. Last month I ran out of data on my o2 sim and o2 said I should purchase more data which is ridiculous as my contract states I should have double the amount of data I am getting!

Please can someone from VM help resolve this issue as soon as possible please.

  • I had this issue at my previous address. It was a flat and the usual was 7/6 which worked with the Post Office and just about everyone. However O2 wouldn't allow / so had to use 7-6. Then when the Volt hookup started, I had quite a  few attempts before they finally changed my Virgin to 7/6.

    I have moved now to a house so no issue with the address. Might be a cheaper option for you :)

  • Can anyone from VM actually help and update my address to the correct format. The last person who tried just gave up after a few responses to my private messages.

     

    How hard is it to update the format of my address? It would get easier if I actually had access to do this myself.

     

    Please can someone sort this out.
