HELP PLEASE
On Monday morning I has an email from Virgin link with 02 which I did, they wanted a different email address to verify, I remembered I had a google email so used that, emails ever since have not come through to my blue mail box on i phone, today I have been on to 02 for 2 hours !!!! I've deleted my ntl account in settings and reloaded, eventually they said they would put me through to gadget rescue department, hurrah, until she told me there would be a cost for an engineer to solve !!! Virgin media came to my property last week and asked to run a cable through my garden to my neighbours. I declined for various reasons but mainly because my cable is hidden and this cable to the neighbour's would have been surface clipped across some of my property which isn't acceptable. I have since tried to contact Virgin about the next steps. An alternative route is through a shared driveway which I would also need consulting on before digging it up. After speaking to 3 different people at Virgin media no-one can help me it seems, surely someone can advise? The neighbour seemingly doesn't know what's going on either. I have been unable to access my email and o2 accounts since yesterday morning. I put in my email address on the new login screen, press next and then get a message to contact the team and mention IDF-12B. I have done this twice by ringing 202 on my mobile. The first time I was told it would be fixed by 7am today. When it wasn't, I phoned again and was told I will get an email! Fortunately I can get email on my android mobile but not on my home computer. Help please! Hello Much like everyone else having problems. I can't log into VM emails on my mobile, either on my VM app or on the website. I have followed the procedure- put email in, entered my password, it asks for a 2nd verification email. I've entered in an Icloud email I use. I get the VM email on icloud and I've pushed the verify link. I get the ' your email is verified ' message but I appear to be stuck in this loop. After doing all the above, I go right back to the beginning when I attempt to log in after getting the verified message. Can anyone help here? I keep getting the message below. Continued calls to support and latest confirmed that IT support avoiding the issue. Case escalated. Tried clearing cache etc and using incognito to no avail. I can't set a program to record through the app. Whenever I try, I get a message saying, "Your Virgin Box is offline. We'll schedule this series to record when it comes back online." The box is clearly online as I'm sitting right in front of it. Sometimes, I also get a message saying, "Recording Failed." Also If I want to watch a program on the app, i have to register the device. Sorry about the length of this. I have had VM broadband and an ntlworld email account for over 20 years now. I last accessed my emails on Sunday evening. On Monday morning I tried to log in and became stuck in a loop trying to create a new VM/O2 id; I eventually managed this yesterday, using an external email and phone two-factor authentication. ( nb - I have had no communications or guidance from VirginMedia about this; I have been looking at this forum and social media trying to glean any information.) Today I have tried to get into my ntlworld email again. 1) try to log into new o2 id, 2) use external (hotmail) address and password - ok so far - it wants to verify, sends verification email to hotmail 3) click on link in hotmail; now it goes to a new sign-in with my ntlworld mail address prefilled. This is apparently step 1 of another "verify it's you" sequence - "Enter your My Virgin Media password / Enter the password you usually use to sign in to My Virgin Media." It does NOT accept my password for my ntlworld mail address or the new o2 password. ("Your password wasn't verified. Please try again.") 4) Click on "forgot your password" 5) this takes me to "reset password" screen. with my ntlworld email prefilled. 6) click on the "continue" button and get "Opps... Something went wrong. Please try again later." 7) "later" - now it wants me to answer security questions. It's been 20+ years and I can't answer them. "Having trouble? Please contact us and one of the team will help reset your password. " 8) Click on the "contact us" button - which takes me to "Sign in or register for Virgin Media O2 " 9) Put in my ntlworld email and back we go to 3) above. Now what am I supposed to do? All I need is access to my ntlworld email account. Does anybody at Virgin Media have a guide to this process? Like, I dunno, a flowchart? For the record, I have tried the customer helpline phone number, The bot does not recognise the word "email" and wants me to switch the router off and on again.
