Useless. Remote

Hi ,  

I recently  had to get my Tivo box replaced , they also replaced old remote , well the new one is hopeless 

My old one  would work by pointing it in any direction , this new one hardly  works , even  when your pointing  it at the tv or Tivo box  , its slow  , for it to work  you have to use it in a certain way , pressing firmly with your index finger  , my old one didn't have that problem  plus I suffer from MS  with numb hands which probably makes it harder , could someone please arrange to swap over the remote  , with one like I used to have
