Some sites not accessible since 16/04

Hello,

starting yesterday morning, some websites are not accessible, the most important one being the home of the JIRA app, atlassian.net.

This would be the most important one, and is really affecting me since I heavily use it work, and I work from home.

Is working if I use a VPN, but can't do that all the time. Not to mention that the work VPN's IP address is another one that doesn't work since yesterday.

Any idea when this will be resolved, an estimated date/time?

Tried to do a traceroute for the atlassian.net portal and seems to be blocked by the bagu-core-2b-ae91-650.network.virginmedia.net node:

Yeah, there's quite a few of us having the same issue with packets disappearing beyond that same hop.

Check out: https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Networking-and-WiFi/Network-Routing-Issue/td-p/5510755

Yeah, noticed the same after posting my message, this forum is very confusing, unlike any other forum engines out there...

Hi All,

we have raised this with our network support team for further investigation. This has been raised under the reference F011273523 and we'll endeavour to have any issue resolved as quickly as possible.

Yes also suffering from bitbucket.org (Atlassian) access being unavailable.

My partner also cannot access one website needed for her day job (which is odd, but hosted on Amazon EC2 if that makes any difference). She is not best pleased and it's all my fault (she thinks).

I went through and checked I had no child protection or virus mode enabled, all off but problems persist.

Just happened to start on 16th April at the same time as when I upgraded my trusty old VM router as I moved from M350 to Gig1 plan too. 😅

Try using this service by downloading and installing their DNS app

I'm having the same issues as the OP. I can access the main atlassian site but not my works atlassian hosted sites, JIRA, trello etc. I'm also having significant slow down with Slack and Jenkins (DevOps app)

That won't make any difference. I already use 1.1.1.1 as my preferred DNS service. This is a network routing issue, it's nothing to do with DNS.

As far as I can tell, this issue appears to be only affecting people in the North West. If you try a traceroute to any of the affected endpoints, does the traffic only get as far as 'bagu-core-2b-ae91-650.network.virginmedia.net' by any chance ?

Edit : Ok, I just saw your reply on another thread - you're in the same area as myself and others. It could even be localised to the Warrington area perhaps ?

Same issues as OP, can't connect to VPN hosted on AWS & can't connect to company hosted atlassian products either. Also from warrington
