(Click on safari menu and then click clear history) Re: Some sites not accessible since 16/04 Try using this service by downloading and installing their DNS app https://one.one.one.one/ Re: 2.5G port broken after latest firmware update on Hub5 I have the HUB5 in modem mode and the 2.5gb port hooked up to an ASUS router. I don't see any faults with the 2.5gb port on the same firmware version. 🤷♂️ Which begs the question, what information makes you think the port is not working? Re: Dire speeds There are several factors to bear in mind when troubleshooting internet / network speeds. Your wired device, is it a pc or a laptop? How old is it? How old are you cables and what is the category (should be printed on the cable for example CAT5, CAT5E, CAT6 etc) On your wired device, what is the maximum ethernet speed (100 Mbps, 1 Gbps ) You can find this by following this guide... https://www.makeuseof.com/windows-check-network-adapter-speed/#:~:text=Press%20Win%20%2B%20I%20to%20open,to%20check%20the%20connection%20speed. Re: Cannot access Sharepoint - apparently there are issues with Virgin Media routers and Microsoft 365 Try using a machine based DNS workaround such as https://1.1.1.1/ where you can download for your devices. Pretty sure it will be a Virgin DNS issue as apposed to Sharepoint MacBook Air M3 Wi-Fi 6E Speed Just got my new MacBook Air M3 a couple of days ago. Whilst it was a muted release from Apple, one of the upgrades was Wi-Fi 6E and boy, when paired with Virgins 1GB home connection does it shine. Re: Poor VPN speed That's the very nature of VPNS. Traffic is routed through the VPN providers network and then fed back to the user. Overly simplistic description I know, but again you will never max out your bandwidth whilst connected to a vpn. Out of curiosity, what speeds do you get when not connected to a vpn? Re: Virgin Media broadband not available for my house, all neighbours have it though? When we moved into a newly built property a little over 11 years ago, we had no fibre like yourself just BT copper. However the terrace houses over the fence from our garden had it, as I saw the virgin media grates on the path. Long story short I was given a local virgin media reps details who came to do a visit of our property and then arranged for a survey to be performed. Several months later, a team of virgin media vans turned up with a digger and installed new grates along the back of our fence and ran a cable through our garden and into the house. So yeah, see if you can ask for contact details for a local virgin media rep in your area and request a home visit... Re: No Internet connection Other than stating the time since you had the service installed, you haven't provided any usable information for this forum to help troubleshoot what may be a localised issue with your kit. For example, you say there's no internet connection, but how have you confirmed as such? Is there any lights on the hub which indicate a problem? Can you connect to the hub using 192.168.0.1 ? What devices are you using to confirm? Mobile, laptop, desktop, game console, tablet? Tested using wifi connection or wired connection? Screenshots of the hubs info screen and or device error screenshots? Re: Download speed test less than 1mbps. Upload speed normal. A few questions if I may... What superhub model are you using? What virgin media speed package are you currently subscribed to? Have these speed issues in general started recently? Concentrating on your wifi, have you spit the 2.4 & 5ghz wifi channels?
