I'm a Virgin Media broadband customer, I've recently moved house and have just installed my new Hub 3 at the new address. I'm now finding that whenever I try to access certain webpages, I receive an error message. This is happening with a range of websites (not just naughty ones) including VPN providers.
I've disabled the child safety settings as I assumed that was the issue, but it hasn't fixed the problem. I noticed the issue first using my Android phone, but it's a similar situation on all devices. The problem is with Virgin Media rather than the pages themselves, as I don't have this issue when I'm using my mobile data.
I've provided an example error message below, can somebody please help me fix this?
This site can’t provide a secure connectionnordvpn.com sent an invalid response.

I'm not using the Nord VPN or any VPN, that was just an example of a site I can't reach. I receive the same error when visiting a variety of sites.

So the error message reads as below:
This site can’t provide a secure connection
www.examplewebpage.com sent an invalid response.

Check the settings of the Web Browser, is it Enforcing HTTPS connections ?
on 27-11-2023 12:02
No, the browser isn't enforcing HTTPS connections, and the problem seems to occur regardless of which browser I use.

Unfortunately it's all browsers, all devices, any webpages that Virgin Media may recognise as adult content but also some sites that wouldn't fit that description.
As an example, I'm currently using Google Chrome on my Google Pixel 7a. When connected to my mobile data I can access the page https://beyondlive.com/ without issue. If I try to access this page via Virgin Media Wi-fi, instead I receive this error message:
on 27-11-2023 12:36
run cmd
tracert beyondlive.com
on 27-11-2023 12:45
Login to the Virgin Media online account and disable Child Safe (it is a DNS 18+ content filter).
Failing this change your device to use a Public DNS such as Google DNS.

I can access the webpage but FWIW here's the trace route.
