Phone adapter.

Will the adapter plug into a Ethernet Gigabit Switch box?  Because the hub is upstairs, and I don't fancy moving cables around, and it would be easier to just into a socket downstairs.

Welcome back to the community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums.
The phone adaptor will only plug into the phone section on the back of your hub, if you wish to have your hub relocated or extensions fitted into your home to accommodate the changes, we can arrange for that to be done from here and as that its part of the changeover it will be free of charge. Would you like me to get that arranged for you?

Consider moving the base unit of your cordless phones to plug into the Hub's TEL 1 socket.
