iMessage will not use my mobile number - it’s appears to be deactivated. My email is ticked but when I try to add a tick to my number it’s just says error and won’t activate. I’ve turned it off and on and switched my phone off and on and nothing works. This suddenly happened after being on the same sim and contract for 3 years! Tried everything I can think of. Any ideas or help greatly appreciated- thanks.

Hi, this happened to me 3 weeks ago, I went to settings and iMessages toggled off and toggled on . This worked for my elderly iPhone SE . Hope it helps 🤞🏼
