I had the exact same issue as you with the plume pods they were utterly useless. Placed my three pods on each floor in the middle of my property on landing / hallway areas (3 storey house). Speeds dropped to 30mbs some devices on Wi-Fi then refused to connect.
In the end I took the pods out and my hub 5 1gbps service connects on my Wi-Fi devices at the maximum speed. Only device I ever have issues with is my ring outdoor camera every so often.
In essence the pods don’t work, I’ve had them since 2022 and they are a waste of time. The older version Virgin used to use was much better.
