I have almost the same issue. The only difference is that my hub 5 tends to have a pulsing white light when it finally drops out. Everything else is the same - it drops out, no connectivity to any devices but WiFi is still transmitting, and needs to be unplugged to a minute or two to reset. Sometimes it works fine for a few days after and sometimes it is minutes/hours. This is the second hub 5 we have had, so it sounds like a repeat issue.
