Old email hacked

I have a really old virgin media email account that has been hacked and is being used to access accounts, but I can’t access it to fix it! Please help

Is the email account linked to an active Virgin Media broadband account or have less than 90 days passed since it was terminated?

No it’s years old, the account was closed in 2018

In that case the forum team will likely be limited to completing deletion of that account; something that should have automatically occurred 90 days after broadband service was terminated.

This is something we can get raised to the IT teams for them to get the mailbox deleted for you but in order to do that I will need to confirm some information with you.

I have sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. If you are using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. If you are on a mobile/tablet device then instead click on the little circle icon in the top right then select 'Messages'. 😊
