Just wanted to find out how have you dealt with Virgin when your contract is up? My contract run out. It was £40 per month and now it's going to £62. Called up Virgin customer service and the best they can give me is £49 for the same m500 service.. Looked up online: hey ho new customers get £35 per month for that.. Where's the logic? Why fleece loyal customers off, make them switch to competition??

Quite logical really. They offer discount prices to catch new customers, but don't make enough profit to maintain those prices after the first 18 month contract.

My name is NOT Alessandro. That's just a tag Virginmedia sticks on some contributors. Please ignore it.

Called them and told them I want to disconnect. Next day someone from Virgin rang and I got new customer offer £35 a month. Is it really profitable to hassle customers and their own employees...?
