Can anyone help regarding the new phone adapter
we have a phone line but there is no telephone plugged in
never used it for years and only have it as part of the broadband
presumably now I have received an adapter - I don’t need to use this and I don’t need to connect anything to the Hub. In addition im guessing it won’t impact the hub

Thank you for your query regarding the landline switchover. The switchover is a change being made by many 9nternet service providers https://www.futureofvoice.co.uk/ This would mean your landline is delivered over the internet and through the hub. You can find all you need to know here https://www.virginmedia.com/help/digital-voice-switchover If you do not want to plug in your phone/ adaptor, it will not affect your internet service. However, it does mean you will not have an active landline service.
