Landline - engaged tone

i have plugged my phone into my hub as directed. the phone rings for an incoming call, but when i answer i get an engaged tone. Same when i ring out. it rings but when the other person answers it’s just an engaged tone. i’ve tried all the guidance and still no resolution!

Thanks for posting, and sorry to hear you're having some issues with the line. Can you confirm if you've been able to to test a different phone handset?

i’ve done this a number of times, i’ve gone through all the online advice.  no change

It has been a while since the hub was last rebooted, if you can please do this as part of the diagnostics so we can rule it out.
