My son tried to call me today on my home phone. It did not ring and on checking it the line is dead. I am wondering if this is due to switchover that I understand is taking place but I have received no notification whatsoever. I will have to call Virgin on my mobile tomorrow but meanwhile anyone who does not have my mobile number cannot contact me. Very frustrating and annoying.

I am sorry to hear you're experiencing some issues with your landline.
It won't be due to a switchover as we have currently paused those.
Have you tried troubleshooting here 👉 Why is my Virgin landline not working?
