Additional phone

Have been sent the adapter for me to connect home phone to the hub. My question is how will phone upstairs work without landline as hub downstairs and have only 1 adapter for downstairs phone.

Sorry to hear of your concerns of your phone set up. You will only receive one adapter which plugs your main phone into the back of the router. 

How are your additional phones set up? Are they wireless phones? What is the make and model you have?

My additional phone is connected via the landline. I need to have access to a phone as am disabled and in emergency will need to be in contact with British gas, western power, water company ect. My main phone downstairs is cordless.

So we can best assist on this, are both phones currently connected via the wall outlet? What models are the handsets?
