cant get into nil world account but longer HM customer, says password wrong and cant reset

If you leave VM your email account should stay active for 90 days, it may be possible to recover lost emails. If you left VM more than 90 days ago you have lost everything on their email system and the cannot/will not recover it.

Many apologies for any issues faced, just to piggy back off @Tudor's post, has the account been cancelled for longer?

i have been using the email after leaving VM but now have trouble getting in and its says password not recognised but people emailling that account dont get an "undelivered" bounce back

Hi colinandfreddie, 

Thanks for coming back to us on this one. As you're no longer a Virgin Media broadband customer, after 90 days, your right to access the email account would be removed and this would then be deleted by the team. 

If you haven't been disconnected for longer than 90 days and you're still within this timeframe, pop back to us here so we can help further. 

If it has been over the 90 days though, the only way we can get you access back would be for you to take out a Virgin Media broadband connection. Once active, we can then move the email address to the active account and regain access for you.
