All Recordings Have Disappeared AGAIN
All of my recordings and planned recordings have vanished for the second time in a month, which is the amount of time which I have had this box. I've tried turning the box off and on again but I've been reluctant to do a factory reset as I don't have an option to keep recordings which it seems that other people do. I am so angry about this as I had no problems with my old tivo box in more than ten years and you forced me to switch to the new 360 one and now this had happened twice. I've tried calling but I just end up going around in circles with the options and it keeps asking me for my mobile number when all I want to do is talk to an actual person which you seem to have made impossible. Hello all! I recently upgraded my V6 to TV360, & overall I'm impressed & happy with it. However, I have one annoying issue. When playing back a recording, it often begins after the programme has already started. It’s not that the programme started early or the timer activated late, because if I rewind, the beginning is actually there on the recording. I’ve been forced to switch from my tivo box to a 360 one and I set it up this afternoon after they switched the old one off without any warning last night. I’ve recorded 2 programs on it but both of them stopped playing within a few minutes and it just tells me to call 150 which doesn’t have an option for that. I have recently signed up for virgin media. I done all my details and package over the phone. Whilst on the call i specifically stated i wanted a box that could record on i.e the 360 and was told i would get one 360 box and my other would be a stream box which was absolutely fine only for the engineer to come out and ive got 2 stream boxes. I called whilst the engineer was here to be told they are no longer offering the 360 and quite cheekily was told who records things now. Maybe someone who wants to record things that cant be streamed. I am very disappointed in the customer service pr lack of i ahould say by virgin media and would like to know if they actually do offer this or if i am better just cancelling this contract and going to sky Q.1.4KViews0likes14CommentsNot full TV services
Just moved from Sky Q to Virgin Media TV/broadband and I’ve been given 2 stream boxes which I didn’t know meant no pause of live tv or recording ! It was not clear during online process that ‘stream’ meant no recording. chat with virgin support said my area doesn’t have ‘full TV rollout’ and that stream boxes was all that’s available. is there no option to get a box installed to allow recording ? We recently switched from Sky, where we'd been a customer for over 10 years. We hadn't realised when we switched that we'd only get the Stream box and that we can't record. At first it wasn't an issue, but not everything becomes available on the watchlist, and my husband is annoyed that we are paying for Sky Sports but he can't watch later if we're out; on Sky he'd be able to record his football matches and watch later in the day. This is the main reason why we wondered if it's possible to get a set top box to be able to record. Considering the additional cost for Sports it feels like a slap in the face to not be able to watch it later. Sky made us send back our Sky Q boxes so we can't switch back, and new contracts now only have their version of Stream! Good afternoon I had a V6 unit fitted five months ago, and it has never worked correctly since being installed. I can record programmes, and it will simply stop recording at random during the programme. However, it shows it is recording on the menu screen, and I only know it has not fully recorded once I try to view it. I was told for months I was the only customer to be experiencing this. But I am now told a customer in Stoke & Tamworth are experiencing this problem (I am in Manchester). After many replacement units and four engineers visiting my property, it is still unresolved. I am now being told it cannot be investigated further as only three customers have complained, and you need five for it to be escalated. So, my question is, does the above sound familiar to anyone else? If I have a series link to record a series on Chanel X and a previous epiosde is shown on Chanel Y, it gets recorded. I'd like to record new episodes only (or only episodes on Chanel X) I could do this on my old box, but I can;t find the setting on the current one. The box says it is 5.08.2.1KViews0likes1Comment
